Appearance points and the 60-minute mark
A player earns 1 point for playing any minutes. Reaching 60 minutes adds another 2 points, making 3 appearance points in total. A player who starts but leaves before 60 minutes keeps the 1 point; a substitute who enters the match also earns 1 point once they play.
Minutes are especially important for the Full House Power Up, which requires all five selected players to record at least 60 minutes. The live display can use provisional match information while games are in progress, but official performance data remains the final authority.
Goals and assists reward positions differently
Goal points reflect how unusual a goal is for each position. A goalkeeper goal earns 10 points, a defender goal 7, a midfielder goal 5 and a forward goal 4. Assists earn 5 for goalkeepers, 4 for defenders and 3 for both midfielders and forwards.
These values apply to every recorded goal or assist before performance bonuses. Two goals therefore produce twice the normal goal value and can also unlock the separate two-goal bonus described below.
- Goal: GK +10, DEF +7, MID +5, FWD +4
- Assist: GK +5, DEF +4, MID +3, FWD +3
Clean sheets, saves and goals conceded
A qualifying clean sheet earns 5 points for a goalkeeper, 4 for a defender, 2 for a midfielder and 0 for a forward. Clean-sheet points may appear provisionally while the clean sheet is active and disappear if the team later concedes.
Goalkeepers gain 1 point for every three saves and 5 points for each penalty saved. Goalkeepers and defenders lose 1 point for every two goals conceded. Those deductions are calculated in complete groups of two, so conceding once has no deduction and conceding twice produces minus 1.
Cards and performance bonuses
A yellow card is minus 1 point and a red card is minus 3. Attacking performance bonuses reward standout returns: two goals add 3 points, while three or more goals add 6; two assists add 2, while three or more assists add 5. Only the highest matching goal tier and assist tier are used.
A player who records at least one goal and at least one assist also receives a separate 2-point bonus. That goal-and-assist bonus can be added alongside the appropriate multi-goal or multi-assist tier.
From live score to final result
Battle Centre updates as football fixtures move through scheduled, live and completed states. Some values can change during a match because clean sheets, minutes and provider statistics are still developing. A visible live total should therefore be treated as the current position rather than the final result.
The Gameweek finalises only after the relevant football fixtures and player performances have settled. Rivals then applies the locked Power Up, records the immutable battle scores and updates results, league tables, form, streaks and season statistics together.
